Gumawa ng partikular na online channel ang Supreme Court (SC) kung saan maaring isumbong ng publiko ang mga katiwalian ng mga nasa hudikatura.
Inilabas ng Supreme Court ang Memorandum Order No. 72-2024 na nagbuo ng integrity@judiciary.gov.ph, kung saan maari ipadala ng publiko ang anumang impormasyon laban sa nga miyembro ng hudikatura na lumabag sa corruption laws at ethics rules.
Kabilang sa mga paglabag na maaring isumbong sa SC ay mga sumusunod:
a. “Extortion of money, gift or favor from any litigant or counsel of any party in exchange for any result.
b. “Extortion of money, gift or favor from any litigant or counsel for the service of any process including warrants, summons, writs of execution.
c. “Extortion of money, gift or favor from any litigant or counsel for any activity of judges, justices, or court personnel.
d. “Extortion of money, gift or favor to gain inside information on the progress of any case, including the name of the ponente (justice assigned to handle the case) in any appellate court, including the SC.
e. “Names and activities of any influence peddler who claims influence in any court.”
Sinabi ng SC na ang mga isusumbong na impormasyon ay maaring gamitin na basehan para sa isasagawang entrapment operations.
“Thus, premature posting on social media may undermine efforts to investigate and prosecute violators,” nakasaad sa Memorandum.
Ang lahat ng impormasyon na ipadadala sa integrity@judiciary.gov.ph ay madaling makikita ng mga miyembro ng Ethics Committee na sina Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo at Senior Associate Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen as working vice chairperson.
“Whistleblowers with credible information will be given the proper protection by the High Court,” pagtiyak ng SC.
Ang nabanggit na online channel ay bahagi ng mga hakbang ng Korte Suprema para malinis ang hanay ng hudikatura sa anumang uri ng korapsyon.
